Why Bangalore Blue Grapes?
Known locally as the “Bangalore Blues,” these black-hued grapes are a regional treasure of the Nandi Valley. They are juicy, slightly tangy, and packed with antioxidants. For decades, they have been enjoyed fresh, in wines, and even as raisins. By cultivating them naturally, we’re not just preserving their authentic flavor but also keeping alive a proud farming tradition of Karnataka.
Our Farming Practices
At KN Farms, we believe farming is as much science as it is art. With drip irrigation from our borewell, the crops get precise hydration while conserving water. Instead of flooding the soil with chemicals, we rely on natural and organic-friendly inputs like cow dung, magnesium, and potash, supplemented by government-recommended organic fertilizers. This ensures that our fruits grow healthier, the soil stays fertile, and the environment remains balanced.
People Behind the Fruits
Our farm may only be 1.5 acres, but it is full of life. With a dedicated team of 4–6 workers, every vine and tree is cared for by hand. For us, farming is not just about produce — it is about creating livelihoods, nurturing the land, and sharing nature’s best with the community.
